May was more than I was expecting as a Local Guide.
I couldn’t believe everything that happened in just one month!
Starting my month being invited to Connect Live 2025 in New York!
I can’t describe how it felt reading the email and realizing I would see old friends again. I’m truly grateful for this opportunity. Meeting new people, reconnecting with friends, and being part (in some way) of the positive change in our community and in Google Maps.
It was an incredible chance to recharge and create new plans for our Local Guide community in Brazil.
Also, in this month, I celebrated 9 years as a Local Guide 
. Everything started with a few simple questions from Google and basic reviews. But after Connect Live 2019, my life changed. I met so many amazing Local Guides who inspired me to upload photos, videos, and write better reviews.
I finally became Level 9!
I have no idea how long it took, but I gave my best to increase my points and improve the quality of my contributions. Well, some years later… I made it! And I’m really happy about it.
