Mausoleum for love or ancient underground temple of love

Mazlumkhan-Sulu is a monument located in the ancient settlement of Mizdakhkan in Karakalpakstan. Many doctrines are considered the XIV century or IX centuries . The mausoleum is considered a typical cult multi-domed structure, one part of which is aboveground and the other underground. The mausoleum of Mazlumkhan Suluv was built in a specially dug pit, only the dome and entrance arch are visible above the ground. The mausoleum includes the main and small halls, several rooms, a long corridor and the lobby. The hall is covered by an octagonal dome; in the faces of the dome are windows covered by ganch(type of national decoration) gratings. In the niches of the central hall there are two tombstones.

The mausoleum attracts travelers from around the world with its unique architecture and amazing tragic legend associated with its construction. Underground construction of the mausoleum Mazlumkhan Suluv is a very beautiful mausoleum. The legend says, given a long time ago, the ruler of Khorezm Shah and he ordered his daughter to build a barn, such as it is incomparable in the world. All the builders worked hard at work, but one day a young builder saw the beautiful girl Khoroezm Shah. He loved her, but she did not reciprocate, as she was the daughter of that same ruler. When the builder finished work on the shed, he confessed his love to her, but the beauty brutally rejected him, saying that he would love him if he fell down. Without hesitation, the beloved guy executed the order of his beloved and died. Only then did the girl understand the whole power of the builder’s love and from despair for her act, she committed suicideThere, the dungeon is buried, it is she who is still 2 burials. The inner mausoleum is a central hall. The western wall of the central room is connected to the small hall by a huge arch decorated with beautiful patterns. The octagonal dome of the building is covered with azure paint.
The mausoleum of Mazlumkhan-sulu is very beautiful among the monuments of Middle Asia.
