MauC a story to tell as Local Guide

One of my favorites hobbies of all time is taking pictures but also i get lost in art, hiking and always looking for new expirences also like expressionism in every aspect, on my days running the cities i have visited many new places and shared to help people find it easily. I like to help people to find places and at the same time i am willing to change positivily rural places or with difficult access. During my walks i have presence figths, robery, protest, and much more action in my days of discovering the world around but also i have meet amazing people, beautiful landscape and im very happy of my commitment.

I like to take pictures of grafities, enviromental problems, arquitecture, landscapes, at fairs, at concerts and so on. I have traveled a long in my homecountry Venezuela. Two of my favorites places there where Margarita Island and Avila Nacional Park located in Caracas. Here is a video of me with a friend in The Teleferérico de Caracas (if you don’t know what is this –take a look- is a gondola lift that ascends El Avila Mountain within El Avila National Park.)

I have been interested in cultural aspects and focus on social inequality. I was born in Caracas (Venezuela) but I currently live in the city of Bogotá (Colombia). In my stay I have experienced cultural diversity also you can find many beautiful places and I am excited about all the experiences Colombia has to give.

I have been in: Gold Musseun, The center of city, Simon Bolivar Park, At the Jamming Festival, Hippies Park, Jaime Duque Park, Botero Museum and so on.

The food is good, the country have varieties of fruits, sweets and plates with exotics ingredients.

One of my best experiences doing long walks was visiting “Barrios” in Caracas during my time studing in school and then in university I meet lot of people who lives there, people with conviction and hopes. Thoes “Barrios” are irregular settlements ubicated in hillsides or hills along of the city of Caracas. This problem occurs for the lack of urbanism. This also affects the destruction of natural space and is a social problem and in most of cases this places are the home of criminal gangs, illicit arms and drug sales, among other illegal activities.

I went to Barrio Cotiza located In San Bernardino (Caracas), Barrio Zamora in Catia la mar and barrio Caño Amarillo. People who lives in this places most of them have to walk kilometers for water, live with electricity shortage, food shortage, crime, abuse and so on.

And a final question What it motivates me most of doing this? Because you only live once (haha).

The need of looking something new and different, exiting experiences and the same time help people to find places and show the cultural environment of places I visit. I also have instragram I have picture of places I visit, art, and much more. Here is if you want to add me: so we will share cool photos!
