While touring Amritsar I heard about this Sacred Hindu temple Lal Mata, and I was there. No doubt it’s one of the place of worship where devotees and visitors are blessed.
Lal Mata Mandir is known as Param Pujya Mata Lal Devi Mandir is situated in Model Town, Rani Ka Bagh, Amritsar, Punjab. It’s considered very sacred among the devotees and it’s dedicated to Holy Lady Lal Devi whose seat is protected by the Sheshnag. It’s a major centre of faith among devotees, where wishes are fulfilled. It’s a very different from other Hindu Temples and various Hindu Gods and Goddesses like Lord Rama, Sita, Hanuman etc are placed in decorated and colorful tableaux, mirror work provides Sheesh Mahal look. The pradakshina is a religious ritual offered to mark the gratitude. Devotees and visitors have to walk through such an ambulatory path which creates a feel of walking through a supernatural world, appears to be a kind of labyrinth, containing artificial caves with suitable lighting creating the natural atmosphere, attractive statues of gods and goddesses are there to bless the devotees.
I have visited several temples in India, built in the ancient and modern periods, but Lal Mata is truly a unique and rare temple of its kind. This temple is famous for its style and spiritual atmosphere. This particular place of worship is frequented by devotees and tourists.
It’s a major attraction among the devotees history buffs wanderers soulseekers adventurers etc.
