This is exactly what the Local Guides program means to me. Deeds that will outlive me. Suggestions that will help new visitors make better choices, and reviews or ratings that will make those who manage different places make them better, ultimately making the world a better place. When I read notifications that say “your photo is making a difference” with almost 3000 views, I am grateful to Google for this program. I can post from anywhere on earth, and anyone on the planet could be on the receiving end. I am able to participate in making
the world more navigable. The best thing is the fact that these marks, be they posts, photos or reviews, will definitely outlive me. Future generations will access and utilise them. In my little local guide way, I can make a global impact that will remian. The Local Guides program makes me agree with the words of Desmond Tutu, “Do your little bit of good wherever you are; it’s those little bits of good put together that overewhelm the world.”This is what the Local guides program means to me. Literally, leaving a mark on the face of the earth. Deeds that will help someone, not necessarily because there are returns for me. The best thing about Google Maps,
is that I get to do that wherever I am on earth, and anyone from all over the planet could be on the receiving end. I’m happy to post reviews, as other people’s reviews have been meaningful to me. I’m also delighted to leave stars for ratings. I try to be objective, and where they are not 5, it’s because something else can be done to make it better. I have been delighted to suggest improvements where I have the chance, and to add missing places. Whenever I read Local Guide notifications that say "your photo is making a difference"with almost 3000 views, I can’t help but feel grateful for the program.This way, in my own little local guide way, I make the places I visit more navigable,and people out there are able to make more informed choices. Most importantly, I am happy that these marks will outlive me. In the worlds of Desmond Tutu, “do your little bit of good, wherever you are; it’s those bits put together, that overwhelm the world.”Hi @Vicky_Kinyua ,

@MoniV Thanks.
Is it the original post that remians, since I can still see both?
Hi @Vicky_Kinyua ,
Both of your posts are still here, one is the main post and the other one is like a comment under the main post.
