Art galleries are my happy place. Been visiting at least 2 per month on Fridays as a way to kick off my weekends.
Visited the Circle Art Agency which is just a few kilometers away from the Nairobi city center. The gallery focuses on giving exposure to artists from the Eastern Africa Region- Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, Tanzania, Ethiopia. It was started about 7 years ago and has grown audiences for art in Kenya and also helped artists gain more visibility through exhibitions, art auctions and international art fairs. The gallery showcases various art forms from paintings, sculptures, tapestries to photos.
They don’t charge for entry and when you join their mailing list you get notifications for exhibitions and art auctions.
