Here is my version of the “Marathon Meet Up - Chennai Heritage Walk Up II ” day, which we spent at Chennai, on 5th May, 2019.
In association with the “Great Indian Heritage Walk II” (conceived & coordinated by our @AmbrishVarshney ), our Chennai Chapter organized
this Unique Heritage Walk. Our special regards to Ambrish Varshney. Since many of us were coming from far off places, we wanted the Chennai Heritage Walk II to have multiple meet ups. And with the full cooperation from our moderators, we could get all the approvals & could conduct 6 Meet ups (One not listed), in a single day.
Intro:
This well organized meet up owes thanks to many LGs & friends.
Much before the announced Meet Up time, almost all were available in a prefixed location. With the distribution of badges and a brief discussion on the Virtual Tour, we all moved to the location (by 9:45 AM, after our breakfast). After a brief introduction of all LGs, the host @Saravanakanth gave a brief History of the Location, which was very informative & useful.
1. Egmore Railway station: (by Saravanakanth)
Although due to renovations and modifications, the original building has changed a lot, but still have retained the majesty. This Gothic style building has many stories to tell. One of the Railway officer was kind enough to explain more details to our @KarthikeyanLandRov . After our explorations for more than hour, we moved to our next Meet up.

2. Rail Museum Heritage Walk: (by TravellerG)
After a drive of about 20 minutes, we reached the Rail Museum. We really had a great time here. Starting with a demonstration of ‘Multiple Filters’ (generic) for cameras (by me), we continued the exploration of the exhibits. To our luck, we could even cover the Audio-Visual Show, also. The Art Gallery & indoor museums also were interesting. Many of the LGs, spent some time in the semi-open-air Canteen also.

**3. The Taste of Heritage @RtnArulPrakasamT **
One of the famous restaurant chains, Anjappar provided the venue. We escaped from the hot sun & had an enjoyable time, together. We enjoyed the good food & love-able service. We spent some time for photography too. The manager of the restaurant explained us, what are their specialities, how they are maintaining their specialties, etc.

4. Chennai Central Heritage Walk: (by @JohnPeter )
The area was crowed due to passengers and the renovation works. The scorching Sun also was a challenge. Of course, although many of the LGs enjoyed photographing, I could not enjoy much. Couple of “Virtual Meet Up” calls were picked up there & was really exciting for us. The LGs went to Moor Market & even purchased some items.

5. Light House Museum: (by Ravi @RVDG )
We were just in time and enjoyed some golden hour photography. Due to heavy rush (tourists), we could not spend much time over there; also, many of the local LGs, (including me) have visited this place many times, so there was low enthusiasm. The aerial Photographs, from the top of the Light carries the WOW factor!

6. Night Photography of Heritage places: (by Jose Benjamin @Jose_G_Benjamin )
Staring from the famous Marina Beach, many of the LGs were involved in testing night photography, using both, Pro + Midrange Cameras and mobile cameras, with the help of different tripod stands. We spent enjoyable time, even in the Vivekananda House. We had some night shoot and dispersed by almost 9 PM.
