Kapasia is the Upazila of the first Bangladeshi Prime Minister Taj Uddin Ahmed. It is well-known throughout Bangladesh and has been an important Upazila since British colonial times. Karpas Spin, a high-quality variety of spin, is harvested here. Kapasia is situated on the bank of the Shitalakkha River, making it a hotspot for business. Therefore, many small businesses thrive in this area.
In the last two weeks, I have been living in Kapasia and have noticed that many important institutions, shops, and small businesses are not listed on maps. There is also a lot of misinformation and spamming. Since I arrived, I have been trying to edit and update the information. Let’s work together to make improvements. I am organizing a physical meetup to address these issues on the maps related to small businesses in Kapasia.

We will start the meetup at Taj Uddin Chattar and then visit the places to update missing information and add new businesses.
Requirements:
- Personal phone with a charged battery and data pack.
- Umbrella, as it is monsoon season here.
- Preparedness for a 2-hour walk.
