I’m a local guide of level 8 and I faced a problem of maps not approving edits I make. It’s about everything, places creation, editing working hours, adding websites and phone numbers. All I can see in my edits tab is “not applied”. Is there some reason for maps to prevent me from editing information or something?
I am not saying anything bad about maps but isn’t it a little bit stupid that they kinda “don’t trust the edits I make” haha

Would you confirm whether this problem still exists? Also, please let us know if the edits you made were rejected immediately and when did that begin?
Some o the edits get rejected immediately, some of them were pending for a week and then rejected, I have several ones that have been pending for almost a month and still no rejection or approval

I would like to ask you also if you had tried to edit spammed with inappropriate names Points of Interest in your area? As you probably know there’s an ongoing spam issue in this part of Europe.
And last but not least, I would like to ask you to change your profile picture, because Local Guides are not allowed to use any Google logos as per our rules.

We don’t have spam in Talnakh, at least I haven’t encountered it, the only problem we have is that people don’t add or edit places. So when I do that I just get a long reviewing time and often just edits getting rejected. I would like to do that work fast but maps don’t let me.

From time to time, your edits may not be applied as we reserve the right to disable user generated contributions for individual business profiles and business categories to prevent abuse.
I’ve already figured out the reason, it’s all because of maps vandalism in Russia
