The street names in this entire neighborhood in Reggio Calabria are outdated and no longer match the official municipal toponymy (many are still listed as temporary lot numbers instead of their legal names.
For example, “già via Str. Prima Giuffrè 32 P. IV” has been officially changed to “Via Gerhard Rohlfs”. As verifiable proof, the public institution located on this street has updated its official address online here: Contatti - Museo Paleomarino
Could a Google Moderator please help escalate this neighborhood to the Maps engineering team for a bulk review against current municipal records? Submitting individual edits for the whole area is too extensive. Thank you!

Do you know how big the area with new street names and post codes is?
Local authorities likely have the corrected map in a digital form. They should use the Geo-data partnership program to automatically update street names and post codes on Google Maps.
The question then is if your local authorities want to and will prioritize doing the work to set this this up. Maybe they don’t have the digital Maps needed.
Your time as a Local Guide might be better spend lobbying for the local authorities to get this fixed.

Hi @janskvaril , thanks for raising this issue. Morten is 100% correct: the best way is that the Municipality update the cartography of the city by itself.
Obviously there are othe options:
A Local Guide can update the names on Google Maps one by one. In this case Maps will verify the names accordingly to the availability of the information in Street View, because Street View is acquired directly by Google Maps. Unfortunately I’m many road of the areas, including the one mentioned by you, there are no visible signs with the name of the road.
By writing a post on the help community, specifying the list of the wrong names, and providing a link to an official cartography of the area, issues by a Local Authority, and publicly accessible. In this way Google can check the documents and update the names. It may take a long time.
A website with a different addresses is not a solid evidence, because it’s not official and it can potentially be fake.
never had the need to update a so big bunch of roads names but, here in La Maddalena (Sardinia), there are lot of roads with names not in the Google database.
I do enter them manually but really often the process is rejected even if, as @ErmesT said, the plaque is well visible in StreetView since 2023.
