Recently I have noticed the badge type information in the badge circles in Google maps is missing. This is on my Samsung S9+ with Maps v 10.3. I reported this via the feedback option in maps but never had any luck with that.
Is anyone else having this somewhat minor issue?

Thanks for bringing this up, it doesn’t seem like there are other reports yet about this.
I just pulled Maps up on my Android and I can see the badges. Do you mind clearing the cache and data for your Maps app by going to Settings of your phone > Apps > Maps > Storage > Clear Cache and the Data. After this, force stop the app as well and then restart device.
Also ensure that you have the latest version of Maps installed from the Play store.
Give that a try and then let us know if the badges come back or not. Thanks 
@Koby I was just going to suggest what Shirley has suggested above. Clearing cache may help with this. Do try and update if that helps.
I am on S9+ everything latest, but Maps 10.3.2 . I currently don’t have an issue as you are experiencing. I don’t remember seeing this particular issue on my phone previously though.
Thanks @Shirley as following your suggested procedure has corrected the problem.
I should mention that when creating my post I had intended to post it to the “Help Desk” topic but could not find that topic in the available topics. Would “help desk” have been a more appropriate topic? Also I am curious as to why was it not available as a topic choice.
