It was not long ago when I started contributing to Google Maps. It began with adding my Home in the Maps and thereafter I gradually started adding the local places and I was quite enthusiastic as I felt that I am portraying my locality more intricately in the Maps. I was not even aware then that Google even has some reward scheme for this.
I used to add the free drinking water points in Maps but @DeniGu 's post on “5 easy ways you can help the environment on Google Maps” inspired me and I became very keen on finding and adding the free drinking water points and recycling points in Maps. Moreover, I also feel that mapping public toilets is another important addition in the maps.
Now, I put up a challenge before you to add at least one of the aforementioned places and share a screenshot of your addition (after approval) in the comments section. Old additions/updates are not applicable. This challenge is aimed at creating awareness on mapping these places and thus improving the maps worldwide.
Are you up for this challenge? Will be waiting for your responses.
