The purpose of writing this post is focusing on Zero food waste and make the world hunger-free place to live.

  • One country suffering from an extremely alarming level of hunger is the Central African Republic (CAR), which has the highest 2018 GHI score of 53.7 and has been suffering from instability, sectarian violence, and civil war since 2012.

  • Zimbabwe, Somalia, are the highest rates of undernourishment, ranging between 46.6 and 61.8 percent

Hunger spots are the areas where the needy and poor people dwell with hunger. They have mapped a few and we need your volunteering in identifying more!

Take a picture of such hunger spot nearby to your locality.

Add in your listing with Geotag & an approximate number of people. That’s it!!

Now, you have helped us in feeding the real needy!!

How to distribute excess food in My Chennai city

  1. Call their contact number or drop the excess food to their collection points or local facility center.

2.Locate nearby hunger spot in Google maps

  1. Quality check and audit will be done by their volunteers.

  2. Deliver the food in the hunger spot.

You can also download some mobile application of NGO’s who are working in your locality to report to Hunger spots

Great heart you have dear @aravind_995 .

Yes lets us drive our country to zero wastage and zero hunger. One side excess of food is available and other side kids go to bed in hunger.

So if something can be done to connect this two groups will be great.

As of now in India Robin Hood Army places wonderful role in collecting the excess food and deliver to the hunger. I am happy to be part of this NGO.

Also in many places, food banks are installed, so one can keep their excess food and needy can take it from there…

So as of now best way to solve the issue is to installing food banks in throughout the country. The big amount of food can be reported to volunteered organizations like Robin Hood army.

Hope soon we will see smiling face of hunger before going to bed.
