I am happy to join a community of people that share a passion like mapping with me. For years I have been a contributer to Google Maps. And I’m glad to see how far Google Maps has come and its impact to development and make better the human life.
I am especially happy to be able to add new points on the map and get points for it. Taking time to write reviews that help people make decisions about the nicest place to hangout with friends and family is exciting. But the most exciting is getting points for it.
In a developing country like mine, the importance of mapping can not be over-emphasized. I remember relying on Google Maps find the location of my interview for a job and how I thanked goodness for Google Maps. I also remember traveling to another city in my country and using Google Maps to help navigate my way around. So I give back to my community and the world by helping add businesses and places hoping that it helps someone find his or her way and that is my satisfaction.
If people can find and get to places easily, it is because of guys like us in a community like this and what we do. Good job guys
