Would like to notify below issue,

Genuine edit got rejected, in spite of Google Maps having the evidence, as the location and address do not match.

Approval process should be strengthened to avoid such errors. Not sure if I should go for the correction again, as it might get rejected.

As per existing address of the place and other information e.g. ‘Copper leaf’(restaurant) , they are all present at a different location. So basically the marker is at the wrong place.

Point 1 can verified using the satellite images. Also, I had personally visited the placed and faced issues due to the wrong marker.
Please assist or let me know the process to be followed,

That place is claimed @Patrick_S which means it is managed by the owner (or their agent) through Google My Business. Local Guides don’t really have much influence over claimed entries.
I don’t bother trying to update a business that does not have the text “claim this business”.

@PaulPavlinovich Thanks for the reply. As a genuine case, I did the edit. Of course, as you mentioned, better to avoid the business that are claimed, will follow this in future. Also, I’ve mentioned this issue in the review, maybe the owner/agent will make the necessary changes.

Is this also because the business is claimed? But this is a public market made up of different private shops, there cannot be one owner.
Most malls/markets/etc are managed and they manage all the shops in their mall @Patrick_S
