The Galle Fort is one of the UNESCO world heritage sites, and the Portuguese built it in 1584. The Galle fort is one of the main tourist’s attractions in Sri Lanka and tourists are here all around the year. There are many shops, restaurants, museums located inside the Galle Fort and most of them are listed on the Google Maps with incorrect or missing information. This meet-up is going to correct/add the information related to tourist attractions, restaurants, shops in the Galle Fort. The evening at the Galle fort is something special. Let us meet, do the map editing and have some fun. We will meet near the Lighthouse in the Galle fort. All tourists from other countries in and around Galle are welcome !!!

Accidently entered a wrong date.
Hi @AnuradhaP - What is the correct date for your meet-up?

@Corrie @AradhanaB @HelloJess I planned the meetup for February 18, 2017. The date displayed in the meet-up listing was February 17, 2017. I cancelled the meet-up and re-submitted. This time I double checked the date, and in the form, it was February 18, 2017.
Once I submitted the form, in the preview, the date was displayed as February 17, 2017.
How can I fix this? Please look into this.
@HelloJess The correct date is February 18, 2017 and time is 5.00pm to 7.00pm. Also, participants have to bear the expenses. Please correct these issues and post my meet-up. I re-submitted the meet-up, and in the preview also it shows the date as February 17, 2017.

@AnuradhaP I’ve tried fixing this myself but it’s changing the date back to Feb 17th. It must be a bug. @MoritzTo , can you look into this? He’s submitted the meet-up for Feb 18 but the site changed it to Feb 17. I tried to change it on the back-end and it re-approved the meet-up but didn’t change the date.
By the way, by trying to change the date and approve it again, a new post has been shared on this board. The most recent post is the one that’s linked to on the actual meet-up page.
@HelloJess The meet-up is live. The participants will get confused.
@AnuradhaP You can cancel the meet-up for now and submit it again when the issue is resolved.

@AnuradhaP The date and time issue seems to have been resolved. Can you try re-submitting your meet-up for 18th Feb so we can make sure it’s working?

@HelloJess Yes, Got it. I like the layout of the meetup page. It is clear and informative.
I noticed sharing the event in social media is not working correctly. I shared the event in Facebook and Google plus. See the attached images. Could you please look into this.
@AnuradhaP Can you explain what you mean by “not working correctly”? We’re already aware that your image doesn’t show up when you share and we’re looking to fix that in the near future.
