I posted a new business and even had 4 pictures of the business but Google doesn’t accept it. It replies with -
NOT APPLIED · Place creation
Google couldn’t verify your edit

What am I supposed to verify? Its a new business, has images, signage, website, what else does Google want?

It is not you but Google Maps who could not verify your edit.
Please read Why is my edit status “Pending” or “Not Applied”? if you haven’t already done so.

Uploading 4 photos while creating a new place is not recommended. Only upload one very good photo showing the business name and the entrance. And only when Google Maps askes you for a photo. Remaining photos should be uploaded after approval. Now you need to manually delete each of the four photos from your photo contribution list.
