Mango city of West Bengal

By the rainy season (In India is late summer), the ripe fruits will start falling off the trees. By fall (autumn), there will be no more fruit. It’s available on May -July . Mango trees do not bear fruit each year (at least one variety of mango)that I’m familiar with called ‘Himsagar’ in Bengali.

Hey @Bishnu_G ,

Thanks for sharing! This is one of the reasons I like the summer - because there are many fruits and vegetables!

I love mango, melon and watermelon. Which ones are your favourites? Can you recommend me a recipe with mango?

To make your posts even more interesting, please share with us a story behind the image and tell us why you decided to share with us. Did you know that posts with good description and interesting photos have a good chance of being featured as a Friday Favorite post?

Hello there @KatyaL

Thank you for your sound

I love eat Mango and you also. My favourite fruit is also Mango.
I like Mango more than watermelon.I love to eat mango since my childhood.
I would like to share a great Mango recipe it’s called" Mango Milkshake"
Mango Shake (Mango Milkshake) is a cool and tempting fruit drink prepared by simply blending ripe mango pieces, milk and sugar. To keep things simple and easy, this recipe primarily explains how to make mango shake with milk. However, for those who are looking for something different, there are few tips and serving ideas mentioned below which can simply make it.
Time - 5 min
Serving-2 people
Ingredients:
2 large Ripe Mangoes(approx. 2 cups chopped mango)
1½ cups Milk
1½ tablespoons Sugar(or to taste)
2-3 Ice Cubes
1.
Wash, peel and chop mangoes into small pieces, discard stone. Transfer them to a blender jar.
2.
Add milk, sugar (to taste or according to sweetness of mango) and ice-cubes.
3.
Blend until smooth and creamy and there are no mango chunks in it. Pour prepared shake into serving glasses, garnish with almonds and scoop of ice cream and serve.
Story of the pictures:
In the last week, I and my friend’s started to roam around and see these muds on a Mango tree , when one of my friend took a picture, which I posted.
Decided to share:
Separately, There is no special reason behind sharing the picture. I love eat Mango. I wanted to see how many people love Mango in the world, like me.
Mango is a fruit that is very delicious and sweet,if is available only in the Summer.
I’ve shared a recipe that you can make it and Don’t forget to tell me how it feel .
Thank you

Hey @Bishnu_G ,

That’s really awesome! Thanks for taking your time to answer me and to send over the recipes.

Mango is a great fruit indeed, but in my country we don’t really have it and we import it from abroad.

I hope you will enjoy it and I will try to find good mango here, so I can try the recipes!

Have a lovely day and see you around
