Manchester Local Guides is hosting another social meet-up where we plan to explore the First Street area before watching Amazing Grace at HOME Theatre. Early drinks will start at 6pm at Bunny Jacksons or the Gasworks. Dinner will be at 7pm at HOME bar/restaurant. And the movie starts at 8.25pm. You can join us for drinks, food or movie, or all three!
This will be a great opportunity to get to know each other over drinks and food, talk about Local Guides stuff, plan out our next meet-up or just blather away (no GoT discussions!). The movie, Amazing Grace is a documentary centred on Aretha Franklin and covers two days of recording as she performed her best-selling gospel album at a Baptist church in Los Angeles. No brainer for fans, eye opener for the curious! Those interested should buy your tickets in advance or you can chance it and buy on the day itself.

I should be available on the 31st for the Foodie Friday. I didn’t get much chance to explore the markets because we had to attend the movie screening at the Plaza. You want to host this and set up the Meetup?

Hey all, and thanks for organising this @AdrianLunsong I will be there! Not quite sure whether I can make the drinks first (might have to rearrange hospital visiting) but certainly for the meal and film.
