Everyone knows the island of Mallorca for its beaches but there is much more to it than that. Yes, it has incredible beaches and it is a luxury to be able to go every weekend less than half an hour by car to a paradisiacal beach, but the best thing is that you can also enjoy mountains, towns, countryside, city, first class services, restaurants and luxury hotels, charming hotels, shopping malls, and many more. I am very proud to be a Local Guide to this incredible island. Although it’s not very big, I can still comment on corners every week.
I don’t know so much about Mallorca, and to be honest, if someone mentions it, beaches popping up in my head. Please tell us a bit more about Mallorca, and share some photos too.
I am going to visit Mallorca tomorrow night, and will stay until 25th March. What would you recommend me to visit? I have no mobility besides bus. I am considering visiting Drach caves, Palma Cathedral, La Almudaina, Porto Pi Lighthouse and perhaps a museum. Anything else that you would think as main to visit? Thank you in advance!
Le me recommend you, to take the Soller train (the stop is in Plaza de España: https://goo.gl/maps/rmdYNy1u5hr) is a very old train that has a lot of charm that takes you to the village of Soller (very picturesque). Once you are in Soller you can take the tram (10 minute journey) and it takes you to the port of Soller, a spectacular bay that will leave you fascinated. It has an incredible beach walk. It is a highly recommended excuse and is perfect for just taking the train and tram is a fantastic experience.
