This year Deepavali (Diwali) is celebrated the end of October. Malaysia Local Guides will be meeting up in Brickfields Little India on Saturday, 26th October, 6.30pm in Brickfields Little India, to join in the celebrations, explore the Deepavali bazaar, try lots of Indian ethnic food and sweets and take lots of photos for Google Maps and Local Guides Connect. All are welcome to join us, please invite all your friends along, especially those who have not experienced Deepavali in Little India before.

Date: 26th October (Sat)

Time: 6.30pm - 8.30pm or later

Rough agenda

  1. Meet and greet, get to know each other

  2. Explore Deepavali Bazaar

  3. Stop for tea/coffee and snacks

  4. Take lots of photos

Notes:

  1. Bring and umbrella in case if rains

  2. Best to come in public transport to KL Sentral and then walk, roads will be closed

  3. Self expenses, will be minimal, only food/snacks
