“Where can i get my broken phone screen fixed?” “How’s this new place that just opened?” These are just some of the many questions we ask ourselves each day.
In my part of the world, you’d usually ask a friend or relative, and it has usually worked fine but as the city is growing and expanding, friends and relatives can’t keep up with everything.
Google maps has been a revelation, and while it’s adoption has been slow, people are warming up to it, and it’s becoming an important tool in many people’s daily life.
With that, comes the need for accurate and helpful information, and me and many other local guides here in Mwanza try to provide just that.
What i love doing the most is adding new photos and making sure that the photos uploaded for various places are correct. I love to use my time reviewing photos for different places and making sure that they are real photos of the said place. As this platform is new to many people here, there are numerous inadvertent errors where people post wrong photos for a place and letting them stay online could perhaps mislead others.
I know every little contribution helps, and that’s what i plan to keep on doing and encourage others to do too.
