I admire Google Maps. I use it everyday even when I exactly know the directions to my destination. It had saved me countless minutes by unexpectedly suggested weird but faster routes. I also believe that through using it, i am helping making it better and more efficient in determining traffic and rush hours so I keep using it even when I “don’t need it”. And for the same reason, I like contributing to it: adding places, reviewing the additions and edits of other users, and enriching the content on Google Maps in general. I truly believe that Google Maps through the contributions of Local Guides had made finding places and deciding whether to visit them a much better informed process. With Google Maps I know what to expect before visiting any place.
