The main reason I started adding to Google Maps so many years ago was my belief that the world needs to be left in a better state then I found it. The surprising thing I found while talking to the public and my coworkers about EV’s is the lack of knowledge about how many stations are located in our home town. I have tried to change this notion by adding multiple Electric Vehicle Charging Stations to Google Maps in order to make it much easier for EV owners to find places to plug in, as well as to educate people who are considering purchasing an EV about how many charging stations there are in there local area. You can now find EV charging stations in almost every City in British Columbia, easily and quickly, just by typing in ‘Electric Vehicle Charging Station’ on Google Maps. I hope this has helped make choosing an EV as someones next vehicle even easier, and can overall help lessen everybody’s environmental footprint by making charging stations more accessible for everyone!
