I usually travel often to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia and Germany. I do that often using google maps. But in most cases I am using also GPS navigation to keep eyes on speed camera along the way. Usually I am picking roads that lead along the way to multiple top locations so that way I am saving my time, money and trouble finding ideal way for each destination afterwards. Before trip I usually take a look on youtube, forums and guides to learn more about these locations that I intend to visit. It’s important to know the situation on the roads before I start my journey. Once I know where I can eat and sleep through all that locations I simply contact all hotels and pay for reservations in advance. If you do it like this your journey will most likely be fine. In each country buy a sim card to your cellphone and insert it into your phone to be able to call if needed help on the way, hotel and to use internet where you can’t reach WIFI. Prepare some money in EURO valuta because in Germany in most places they will have cash instead of debit cards. If you travel to Croatia there they accept only Croatian Kuna same goes here prepare some cash just in case. Last but not least prepare some maps for each individual country.
