Planting a tree is one of the most powerful ways in which you can make a difference for the environment. But we’re not asking you to plant a tree, we’re asking you to adopt one. That’s because we need your help not just in planting the sapling, but in nurturing it to life and being responsible for its growth. The Adopt a Tree Campaign was initiated by WWF-India in 2005 with the aim of encouraging both individuals to plant and care for native species of trees. You too can adopt a tree and help make this world a greener place. What you will get 1)- 5 Plants per LG 2)- Swag for Everyone. 3)- Breakfast. This event is hosted by a Local Guide who has been selected to receive support for this event from Google, however, it is not an official Local Guides event hosted by Google. Local Guides program rules, Google’s Terms of Service and local laws apply.

Great initiative @AmbrishVarshney I love trees and especially tree planting. We can encourage our local guides to map the trees after the plantation.

If you like to show your trees on map please upload your trees to Let’s map green web.

We have initiated a green project last year while contributing to maps and our Target is to plant one billion trees across the world. Hope you also can support to this.
