MAJOR BUG - Duplicate images

My main account is a level 7 with over 7000 points. In NYC, I posted an image at a breakfast spot, and it posted to a different business in the same building. I went to delete it, and then I get hundreds of duplicates of the same photo on that wrong business. I tried numerous times to delete all the duplicates, and anytime I now leave a review or post more photos to a new business, at least a few dozen of that old picture appear under that wrong business. I gave up trying to delete the images. Now, when I try to log in, it says You’re not eligible to become a Local Guide. - I’ve lost my Local Guide status!!!

I have to remind you that having 2 profiles as Local Guides is against the guidelines.

It sounds like a serious bug.

You should use the appeals form to explain what happened.

Suspended local guides can find help in my tutorial called How to Get In and Out of Trouble as a Local Guide.

Please leave the program with this Google account and use the other one. You can still read content on Connect if you use an incognito window.

Regarding the issue of the duplicate photo, this is a glitch reported a few times, and can be solved by removing the photo from your device, before to delete the photo on the business. Try this and then delete all the duplicate photos.

After that, fill out the Appeal form, letting us know you’ve been removed. Be sure to provide us with your Google Maps profile URL so we can look into it. It can take up to three weeks to investigate banned accounts, so please be patient. Our team will reach out privately as soon as we have an update. "If you think you may have been wrongfully removed from the program and your account hasn’t been reinstated for more than 10 days, don’t create a new account to post on Connect. (That’s against our program rules, too.)

Close this account now. Having two accounts is against the program rules
