Maipures rapids and venezuelan cuisine in the middle of the Orinoco

What I love sharing most on Google is remote places in rural developing countries. I had the chance to meet a venezuelan family where we stayed a couple of nights while travelling along Orinoco river. The place exists in Google Maps but there was not enough information to show it was actually a restaurant.

Other than that, mapping for disaster recovery is my passion. Understanding how GIS can shape a better world is something I have always wanted to pursue and explore as an engineer, knowing how important go graphical information could be for decision making during unrest and recovery for communities.

Google Maps in my opinion is one of those tools that are making the gap between developing and developed societies, narrower.
