Is there an email address for the Google Maps team? The German support can’t help you (as expected) …
I would like to have more options for editing maps (house numbers, streets etc.)
With some things I don’t understand why no changes are made, after all, Maps lives from “correct information” …
The range of functions is currently really an indictment for a global company like Google.
Who is responsible here? Is there a product team?

Imho, you’d get better assistance at Google Maps Help Community (https://support.google.com/maps/community?hl=en ), @Vossy1995
Btw it’s not an idea you’ve shared. Maybe you could change its topic to How To not Idea Exchange.

Hello @Vossy1995 ,
Thank you for reaching out! However, as this is not an idea, I am going to move your post to the How-tos section, the place where Local Guides ask questions related to Connect and Google Maps.
As far as the Idea Exchange section is concerned, you can read How do I use the Idea Exchange? article.
Hi @Vossy1995
There is no email for what you are requesting. This peer forum and the other peer forum mentioned by @iorikun301 can get issues escalated to the team should your peers not be able to help you.
There are ways to increase your approval rate. But they require you to study carefully the Local Guides and Google My Business rules. And then you need to figure out how to build your trust score for the kinds of edits you wish to be able to get approved quickly.
Here are some of the tips I have experienced can help:
Don’t get hung up on one or a few particular edits. Learn to let go. Leave difficult edits to others.
Don’t repeat edits just because you think they are correct. This will get you taken for a spammer by the system.
Know you are dealing with AI computers and not humans.
Know that claimed pins are more difficult to edit than unclaimed businesses.
Pre-verify by looking up phone numbers in reverse to make sure they return the same name and address. Do the same with websites.
Make a lot of easy (well-documented) edits rather than a few difficult edits. By well-documented I mean pre-verified as mentioned above.
Only make single edits (one piece of information and the hit submit).
Listen to the feedback you get from the AI filter. And adjust your edits accordingly. You will be able to predict if each edit will go pending, not verified, or approved before you make them. Then stick to the ones that are easily approved.
Over months you will see your approval rate go up big time. But it is a lot of work. And, always stick to the many guidelines.
Cheers
Morten

I only make good changes, but I find it annoying that Google simply doesn’t offer good support and wastes a lot of potential. Something like that demotivates you in the long run, you don’t get anything for it.
