This 79-storey Mahanakorn building, located in Sathorn: a financial area of Bangkok, next to Bangkok’s Skytrain Chongnonsi station, offers a thrilling glass tray walking experience called “Mahanakorn Skywalk”. Visitors can walk on the glass tray 314 metres (1030 feet) above the skyline of Bangkok as if they were on the clouds. The panoramic view was stunning overlooking almost every part of Bangkok. It is said that on a clear day, you can see mountains in Chonburi, the province in Thailand where Pattaya is located, situated over 60 miles away in the east.
Unfortunately, during the Covid-19 pandemic, the building has been partly closed. As a result, the skywalk has been temporarily closed until further notice, hoping the building will be available soon as the Covid curbs in Bangkok have been relaxed since Sep 1, 2021.
