Here is a list of all important Monuments (and associated places which are not mentioned in Google Maps), which are serial numbered and connected to the “Zonal Maps”.
This list is also a ‘Planner’ which can help you to cover from one end of Mahabalipuram to the other end, without losing any POIs.
Explanation of the Chart
Sl. No: The Serial Numbers are marked as the location of the POI in the Zonal Maps- hence it is important.
POI (Point of Interest) is the Name of the place.
Google Maps Link/Others: Hyperlinks to POIs marked in Google Maps or a supplementary link when the location is not available in the Google Maps.
Importance (Heritage): According to me, the Heritage value of each POI is marked with 5 as the best
Importance (Photography): The Photographic importance of each POI, with 5 at the top, where you have a lot of scope for taking photos.
Duration in Minutes: This is the minimum time required to have a quick look at the POI, excluding travel time & time for purchasing the ticket, etc.
No, I think you missed all the links I provided to you on my previous reply.
In Google Maps you can Create a list of places . In this way you can help others to explore, and a list can also be featured in Maps, becoming a reference
@TravellerG@you are doing a great job as well as I agreed with @ErmesT to make a list for these places as I am doing already I have made almost 35 list regarding to religious tourism food tourism and historical tourism so you also can do this.
There is a LOT of work in creating a Project in Google Earth and in My Maps, @TravellerG , @Muhammad_Usman , and not a lot of people know how to do that.
I have some of them shared here in Connect, and I rewriting the Google My Maps manuals, for an easy way to add contents.
I will host a few meet-ups on the next month’s just about Earth and My Maps.
Why I believe this can be interesting: because both projects are sharable, so it is possible to have more trusted people working together on a common project. This can increase the strength of a community, and creating contents sharable worldwide. Visual communication is very important to share the beauty of an area
Your passion for traveling, your passion for photography, your passion for quality photos, your eye-for-detail when capturing photos, and your untiring efforts to present the best of your experiences for the benefit of the local guides community in the most helpful way cannot escape the attention of readers.
I have always appreciated your posts though I think it is entirely a failure and misfortune on my part if I have missed out on something in the past.
