#Mahabalipuram [04] A “Master Guide”(2/2)for Mahabalipuram Mega Series of Connect Posts-TravellerG

Mahabalipuram Posts N0: 04; Master Guide Part -2 of 2.

This is the continuation of the Master Guide - 1/2 (Here); kindly read the first part to get the connection to this post.

How can we have an overview of all the POIs (places to visit) in Mahabalipuram?

According to me, there are 40 + POIs (Point of Interest). Based on the availability of parking we can group them into 4 Zones.

Places to see:

Zone-1 has 7 POIs

Zone-2 has 19 POIs

Zone-3 has 6 POIs

Zone-4 has 9 POIs & a couple of stand-alone places.

This 'Lists of POI’s and supporting locations’ ('supporting locations’ = locations NOT available in Google Maps) almost cover almost all places; As per the ‘Serial Number’, the locations are marked in the 4 zonal Maps.

Zone -1 and its POIs:

These are the 6 POIs & the parking in Zone-1; you can park the car here & see all the 6 places.

1 Murugan Temple Here
2 Thaniyamarnthamman Temple Here
3 Rockcut Shiva Temple Here
4 The Stone which revealed Murugan Temple Other
5 Parking area for Car & Bus Other
6 Tiger Cave Here
7 Tiger Cave Beach Here

A____ccessibility:

Most of the Monuments are accessible at least to view from some distance; however, Entry, Parking & Toilets are limited.

Thanks, dear all readers

When we compare other platforms, this platform is very poor as far as visibility is concerned.

After spending man-hours, when nobody responds, it pains… right?

Anyway, As you know, I shall be continuing, God willingly.

Thanks for inspiring me, dear @NareshDarji & @Anil6969
