Mahabaleshwar is located in Satara which is located in state of Maharashtra in India. Mahabaleshwar is situated on Sahyadri Mountains of the Western Ghat. In the Mahabaleshwar region the river Krishna that flows across Maharashtra, Karnataka, Telangana and Andhra Pradesh originates from here from a idol of cow located in Panchganga Mandir of Mahabaleshwar. In the Panchganga Mandir the 5 rivers (krishna,venna,koyna,savitri,gayatri) originate from this place.

Places to visit:

1. Old Mahabaleshwar

2. Panchganga Temple

3. 3 Monkey Point

4. Arthurs Seat/Point

5. Venna Lake(specially for Boating & Horse riding)

   

6. Wilson Point

7. Elephant Point

8. Mapro Garden
   Modes of Transport:

• Road: You can reach Mahabaleshwar by Private Ac/Non Ac Buses or through MSRTC Buses. You can also travel through Car.
• Railways: Nearest railway station is Satara or Pune. One can come from Mumbai to Pune through train and then travel through a bus or hire a car to Mahabaleshwar because Mahabaleshwar does not have railway route.
  Best 5 Hotel in Mahabaleshwar market that you must stay:
  This all hotels will cost you about 1500INR/night to 3000INR/night
• Hotel Sai Yash
• Hotel Meghdoot
• Hotel Poonam
• Hotel Sai Regency
• Hotel Inter Plaza

There are also other hotels which are good but they are not in the Mahabaleshwar market. If you wanna explore the market then I recommend you to stay in Hotel Sai Yash which is in the market and has a good rooms and a quality food too.

My best experience in the hotel is Sai yash because it has deluxe rooms and also it is located in market and opposite to Bus stand of Mahabaleshwar. The food over here is also good and tasty.

The other 5 stars hotel which are not located in market are:

1. Bella Vista Resort
2. Ever shine Key Prima Resort
3. Le Meridien Mahabaleshwar
4. Citrus Chambers Mahabaleshwar

पण एक जाणवलेली बाब म्हणजे मला सुरवातीचा उताऱ्या मधील वर्णन विकिपीडिया मधील लेखाशी जुळताना दिसते. ते योग्य नाही.

तसेच, प्रत्येक हॉटेल मधील तुमचा अनुभव सांगू शकता का?

उदाहरणार्थ, बेला विस्टा मला लिंगमाळा ला भेट देण्याचा दृष्टीने, अतिशय योग्य वाटले. संभाव्य पर्यटकाला ते जास्त सयुक्तिक वाटेल.

तसेच, सातारा रेल्वे स्टेशन ४९ तर चिपळूण ४५ किमी वर आहे. पण आपण कोकण रेल्वे विसरूनच जातो.

त्याशिवाय, महाबळेश्वर मधील सर्व हॉटेल्स दोन दिवसांच्या आत केलेल्या RT PCR टेस्ट चे रिपार्ट्स मागत आहेत. ही माहिती देणे जास्त महत्त्वाचे ठरेल.

And in Mahabaleshwar I stay in only one Hotel that is sai yash and i guarantee that everyone will love the stay at that hotel. You should also try it …

Thanks for giving me information about the km and distance i was not knowing it

And as i visited last month on january 17 i was not tested for RT PCR.

I have mentioned my hotel experience of Hotel sai yash. becasue I only stay in that hotel whenever i go to mahabaleshwar. i dont have any idea regarding Bella vista. But if you want you can visit it

I am a regular visitor to this hill-station for several decades now and it is nice to see the view of the Venna lake
