Magnolia Blooming...

Magnolia Trees, very common in England and easily spotted at this time of the year as the trees are filled with blossoming magnolia flowers.

The amazing part is the trees just start with flowering, no leaves. Then when the flowers all fade off as the days get warmer. The tree then starts filling up with leaves and stays that way till autumn when they shed off all its leaves and wait for winter to pass.

Natures amazing cycle.

Thank you for those beautiful photos, @Sheralyn !

Magnolia trees are not that common in Bulgaria, where I live, so it’s hard for me to enjoy their gentle blossoms in person.

Is that tree somewhere close to where you live? Do you have any recommendations for parks or natural places in your area?

Adding more details to your posts makes them even more engaging! You can check out these 14 helpful tips for using Connect which can give you some great ideas about your future posts.

Hi @Sheralyn ,

To keep Connect organised, I’m going to move this post to your previous flower post. It’s best to keep photos and articles which share a common topic in one thread, so that other Local Guides can find them easily.

Hi @Sheralyn ,

Thank you for this post.

I am glad to see this picture because this means that Spring is coming also in England. In order to keep this post together with your previous ones with the same topic, I will merge it into Magnolia Blooming…

@DeniGu

Magnolia Tress are very common where I live. Every street has 3 to 4 trees. This one just round the corner from my son’s school.

There is a lovely park which we have been going to past 13 years, it’s called Coombe Abbey Park, Coventry. The landscape and flower displays are breadth taking.

Thank you for your kind and encouraging words. I will try my best to post my experiences with beautiful pictures.

My starting posts were not so good, a bit of bumpy start. But getting a hang of it now.

I think at the time of registration there should have been a training session on tips and rules for CONNECT members. I felt a little bit lost. But support from you and others have pointed me to the right direction.

Thank you so much. I truly appreciate your help.

Thank you for the feedback, @Sheralyn !

Signing into a new platform can be a bit confusing at first, but our community of Local Guides is very supportive. You also have us, the Google Moderators, to help you out if you have questions or experiencing issues.

I can recommend you to scroll through the articles in our Help Desk section, which offer lots of tips and tricks about how to use and enjoy Connect to the fullest.

As for having a training session for new members, we have an existing idea about it in the Idea Exchange section. Feel free to vote for it or share your own idea. For more information about how the Idea Exchange works, check out this post.

I’ll be seeing you around!
