Magical Manali

Mesmerising and Magical Manali  :blue_heart:

The snow-clad mountains, the crystal clear water of Beas river, the scenic views and spell-binding nature… Yes, it’s Manali, the heaven on earth. The best place to visit in Himachal Pradesh.

You can plan a great trip to Manali when visiting India. The places to visit here are Hadimba Devi Temple, Solang valley, Rohtang Pass.

Tip: It is quite cold during winters (October-February) Do carry warm clothes.

Things to do:

Sightseeing

Shopping - There are hand-made shawls from rabbit wool, small necklaces, woollen clothes, designer clothes, etc

Rafting in river Beas :rowing_man::female_sign:

Adventure sports at Solang valley - bike riding, snorkeling, paragliding

Apart from this there are beautiful Buddhist monasteries like Tibetan Monastery that has huge statue of Buddha. The place gives very calming effect.

Rohtang Pass is a destination where people come for hiking and scenic view of snow. If you are lucky you will get to see snowfall. Eating maggi at the top of Rohtang Pass is a feeling that is unmatched

You can also try some Pahadi costumes (local dresses available on rent for clicking pictures).

During my visit, I had stayed in The Manali Inn one of the best hotels I have ever seen.

Hi @TusharSuradkar

Thanks for your comment.

No, due to lockdown couldn’t visit recently. But, since it’s one of my favourite places, I thought of sharing what I miss in this lockdown.

Hello @MayuriKubal ,
what you tell us about Manali is fascinating, it really is heaven on earth.
In Mexico we have a magical town, Mazamitla, it is a beautiful place to do outdoor activities in the middle of nature, and also to rest in cabins surrounded by pine trees and beautiful gardens. Can you see the cabin in the woods?
