I have visited Lithuania many times in the past 7 years, and I’ve found so many interesting things to see and do along the way. I had many opportunities to stay at different businesses, but something similar to this villa I had yet to experience!
One hour from Vilnius, and upon leaving the city, the view quickly changes from crammed buildings to vast open space; you will see small villages, farms, and lots of agriculture. At some point, just a few minutes before arriving at the Villa, you are suddenly in the forest facing a wooden gate. Once the gate opens and invites you in, you enter into a big area of land stretching and leading you to this stunning villa. Standing in front the entrance you are introduced with a front door that is so impressive and amazing that you can’t wait to enter and step in. Inside, you will find a huge living room with a fancy kitchen and in it all the amenities and necessities provided, as well as a bar area with seats and comfortable sofas. The interior decoration is simply outstanding - one of the most amazing places I’ve seen. Four fantastic bedrooms, all big with supremely comfortable beds, three showers that are each well designed and in high quality, alongside towels, soap, and shampoo. All the rooms have an incredible view overlooking the lake with an access to the balcony. I have never seen such a perfect villa!
The outside area around the villa is such a dreamy place; it has so many small spots to relax in, a barbecue corner to cook at, a fire place to warm up next to, or of course just breathe in the fresh air while walking down the path to the nearby beautiful lake, taking you down to the water. There, you will find another small and quiet place to hangout, relax, and chill. It takes time to capture all the beauty and the serenity of it all. I found myself truly enjoying the quiet that this place has to offer.
Driving outside the villa on a short 10-15 minute drive, you will find a small and pleasant town. There are local restaurants, cafes, and other various attractions open to exploring, such as observatories, museums, and more.
As a photographer, having the ability to capture moments of peace, freedom, and fun is a very powerful experience. There are not many places that I have enjoyed visiting as much as I have had being at this villa. There is simply a rare combination of beauty, nature, design, and a touch of uniqueness enveloping the whole area, and I do not have enough words to further describe this amazing experience except inviting you to come see it for yourself!
