In April 2019 i travelled from Bandung to Yogyakarta and stopped at Semarang for one day. and i was amazed by this Nabawi inspired mosque located in Semarang, Central Java
Great Mosque of Central Java or in local name Masjid Agung Jawa Tengah is the main mosque in this city, this mosque main attraction is six giant umbrella that can be opened when its hot or raining, this mosque also have one observatory tower named Al-Husna Tower that you can use for seeing city skyline, you can enter this tower for 7500 Rupiah (~$0.6). Another attraction in this mosque is Bedug, it used for traditional purpose mainly for adhan.
