Macro photography

Well all took a walk today in social isolation not far from my home here on The beautiful Wirral Peninsula here in the UK, at a place called cleaver heath where I took these shots of insects, they are all less than four mm i know the first two are grasshoppers, the second maybe a frog hopper nymph and the third is a wevil but unsure of the species, the last is a nomad bee, i took them with my Olympus em1 11 with my olympus 60mm macro. I just love these little creatures they look almost alien.

Fantastic photos - such detail! Not a big bug person myself but it is incredible getting those types of shots of living nature. @Hgog

Amazing photos @Hgog you seem to have a plethora of insects in your reach. Are you an entomophile by any chance?

Thank you @SP31 suppose with so many insects sometimes i get to excited seeing which ones to choose to photograph they run or fly away :).

Hi @AdamGT no I’m not an Entomphile I’m a carpenter with a passion for photography and wildlife, we are all surrounded by insects and they have a beauty of their own with rich colours shapes and sizes.
