MacDonald’s on the NASA Parkway in Houston caught my attention for its impressive storefront especially the astronaut holding a packet of fries, which I found to be a great welcome sign.
This is a corner property and there is plenty of parking on two sides including reserved parking for the differently abled.
I walked in and found that it was a very clean and pleasant restaurant.
They had touch-screen ordering kiosks, and I used it to place the order.
There is also an in-person ordering kiosk with the menu displayed in the background though I am not sure what white meat chicken meant.
This was one of the best locations I’ve been to recently with a fast and friendly service.
This is the pickup counter that also displayed some awards and trophies won by this outlet.
The seating is plush and comfortable with a great view of the stroad outside.
I ordered a burger, fries and coke.
The only problem is no drink station inside, so I had to ask the staff whenever I wanted a refill.
Here is another great view that shows the amazing ambiance at this place.
The washroom is spacious and accessible.
The parking too is huge and is accessible from two directions making it easy to move in and out.
I noted that several slots were reserved for the differently abled.
Here’s another closeup view of the astronaut holding a packet of fries shining in all its glory during twilight on a cool Houston evening.
When I finished my meal, it was a bit dark outside, and I had a final glimpse of the MacDonald’s storefront before heading back to the Microtel Inn and Suites where I was staying.
This was the most delightful experience at any McDonalds ever so far in India or the US.
The wheelchair accessibility is seen everywhere starting from a leveled parking and reserved slots for the differently abled, right to the entrance and seating as also the washrooms.
The parking area, entrance, seating, ambiance, service, everything was super-perfect.
I especially liked the Spaceman outside the outlet.
It was a treat to the eyes just like the burgers served to me were a treat to the tastebuds.
