As someone has said there are only three things which can change your life:
-
Hungry stomach
-
Empty Pockets
-
Heart Break
Luckily I was going through a heartbreak and as every heartbroken, I wanted to do something else. So I planned to pursue my further education in the USA. So after going through the entire process of application, the day arrived when I going to fly. My flight was Mumbai-Delhi-NYC-Detroit, with a layover of 12 hours between NYC and Detroit flight. So I decided to go out and explore NYC. Now, this was my first trip to the USA and at this point I have never been to any western countries.
So my flight landed in NYC and I checked my bags for the next flight. Since it was my first time I was anxious about going out but that’s when my extensive relation with Google began. I did research about the best way to where I did not fall a victim for the illegal transports. I choose NYC Airporter and it was the cheapest and efficient way to do it. I was following the maps all along and there was a time when my phone died it then I realized how big of a mess I am. I have always been a confused kid when it comes about the directions. So my priority was getting my phone charged. I stopped by a shop and where I was introduced to the gentleman from Pakistan and I was surprised by his kindness. Now to make a few things when it comes to the relation between India and Pakistan there are tensions but later I realized those pictures are created by media and politics.
My first solo trip taught me a lot and helped me change my perception. It an amazing experience where I had my first Pizza, First Hotdog and First Coffee in NYC. After that experience, I started traveling alone technically google has always been with me.
