Loving the service, sharing the experience

One of the perks of being a Google Maps Local Guide is the ability to save and share those places where you are treated like a friend. Sometimes you are so far away from home that all you want to do is sit in a comfortable chair and feel like you are part of the hood, or as the song says… “Where everybody knows your name”

I’ve had the opportunity to visit a few countries, and I’ve made sure to write down great reviews at any spot where besides the usual business, people treat me as a friend, even if they’ve known me just for a few minutes.

This place in Prague, we came for a second time and both the bartender and the waitress welcomed us with a smile, and they knew what we wanted to order immediately!

“Two Staropramen, right?” and we all shared a good laugh.

This other place in Oxford had a very fun staff combination. A couple of young guys, and two adorable old ladies who are friendly as sweet grannies. We only had one glass each, but they allowed us to stay for much more time to take a breath from our long walking day.

I have examples in Madrid, Mexico City, Budapest and a long list of cities around the world. I love sharing my experiences with people who is traveling to the places I’ve already visited, and being a Google Maps Local Guide is the perfect place to do exactly that!
