My journey as a local guide started when i uploaded a first image on google map about a post office in krishnanagar area near my house. That image reached 1000 views within 6 days; i amazed after that overwhelmed importance of my single image upload on google maps, after that I continued to upload all important places image and adding missing places on maps. In my personal experience, sometimes I got confused due to wrong place pinning on google maps, but with my knowledge and with the help of other local people I am able to correct that information on google maps, that’s how we help other people to find any place and local shops with just few clicks on google maps. This would decrease wandering of people on their vehicle to find one place. This lead to decreased fuel consumption and decrease pollution.
I always thinking about ideas, which we can use google maps to make our community pollution free and sustainable because climate change is the major concern for all in near future and we all have to act for it.
Google maps provide me a great widespread platform for that to help people to find correct place at correct site, this will help us to decrease fuel consumption indirectly, and make happy healthy green future for everyone. Thats why I love to be a local guide.
