India is a nature lover’s paradise. Here, you can climb up to snow-laden peaks of the Himalayas, get sandy at the Jaisalmer Desert Camp in Rajasthan, feel the smell of nature and detox yourself at Ladakh or Auli, Uttarakhand or explore the mesmerizing underwater coral garden at Lakshadweep. I have travelled most of it as an independent traveller and love to share my experience with others so as to make travelling fun. when we are considering nature play, not only fun, the risk is an often- passionate topic and a frequent roadblock. If already I know the prospective risk I may also minimize the chance of risks. For this reason, only I am trying to discuss a few risks of travel.
Experience can be written down, the pros and cons of travelling can be discussed but it’s not always easy to share feelings. Nature is the greatest artist and her beauty cannot be written down. One of the highest lakes in the world of Sikkim to the coral reefs of Lakshadweep cannot be enjoyed without having a look at them in real. Here I take this opportunity to share some of the pictures that I have clicked for others to enjoy the artistic work of nature.
Coral Reef of Minicoy Island, Lakshadweep of India: My first love with a coral reef in Minicoy Island using snorkelling and scuba diving. First Scuba diving experience at Mini-coy on 12 March 2015.
It is noteworthy to state here that Indian travellers are permitted to visit all Island of Lakshadweep through Society for Promotion of Nature Tourism and Sports (SPORTS). Foreign tourists visit the Islands of Agatti, Kadmat and International Tourist Resort of Bangaram, with permission of Administrator. There is an Airport only in Agatti Isl
In the above video, my son is doing scuba diving with the help of the Guide but he doesn’t know swimming. I am swimming alone above them with snorkelling gear.
There is some risk in scuba diving if you want to go deeper inside the sea. It’s no surprise that ear squeeze, the most common injury in scuba diving. There is a technique to popping your ears to get rid of clogged ears.
If you are not tolerating the water pressure doesn’t go deeper, otherwise, you may have a problem of eardrum or bleeds from noses. You may communicate with your trainer with some symbols of fingers.
Trekking or travelling in Indian Mountain range is always a dream of nature lovers. But trekkers are always facing tremendous life risk as Everest summit.
Snow-capped Gurudongmar Lake is one of the highest lakes in the world and in India, located at an altitude of 17,800 ft (5,430 m). It is very interesting that a part of the Gurudongmar Lake never fridges.
At the same time there are some ill effects of nature we were facing.
If you are unlucky then you may have money with you but no chance to get food. We are always pupating in the hand of nature. We can’t Control nature. You may face many unwanted situations. So always take one extra day to prepare your itinerary.
We were bound to wait here with several other cars until Border Security Forces (BSF) came with bulldozer car, removed debris and construct a temporary path for car.
Auli Laga of Joshimath, Uttarakhand is a must see place for Ski lovers. Auli has a nice Ski resort. You may go there easily using the Rope-way to Auli or by road from Joshimath. Cable car of the rope-way is not accessible by wheel-chair.
Like an earthquake on the hill, we faced a similar situation by sudden snow-fall when we travelled from Joshimath to Badrinath of Uttrakhand, India. We were started in the rain on 4th November at 11 AM. Due to heavy snowfall on the next 20 Km road to Badrinath. We were bound to stay in a small hotel at Pandukeshwar and unable to purchase any dinner at night. This is also a tourist spot in the history of King Pandu. We managed with some biscuits. After that position, there was no hotel to say before Badrinath. Many travellers including school children were stuck on the top of the hill. After 24 hours, when B.S.F. cleared the road some cars came down with snow caps. Then you are allowed to move forward from this position.
At last, we reached the paradise of Heaven called Badrinath Dham after crossing many hurdles.
Quickly we proceed towards the Lord Badrinarayan Temple because we must return to the Joshimath on the same night. No devotees were taking the risk to stay here.DD
Hot springs and the river Alakananda is flowing on the foot of the temple.
Anyone may travel Jaisalmer or Rajasthan to visit the Thar Desert. Rajasthan is the safest state of India for tourism but you may face desert storm here,
This is the beginning to tell my story with you. I may share more stories about the world. Google map has served as a platform to help my cause.
After my first scuba diving, I do scuba diving in Tennenbaum in the North-East of Bali, Indonesia to explore the world-famous USAT Liberty Wreck. We dive another point there with the statue of Buddha and its Stupa are mossy, reefs and many small fish are there.
In my latest tour of Australia and New Zealand, we explored the outer reef of Great-Barrier-Reef (GBD) of Australia. It was extremely windy and choppy but sunny on the day we went out. I saw big Corals and fishes which are not available in other spots.
Both the spots are world famous and much riskier but I never forget my first scuba experience in Minicoy which was most attractive other than all spots.
I am maintaining my blog using Google blog-spot with my family members named self-help4all.blogspot.com
