The photo was taken in Thap Muoi District, Dong Thap Province on my weekend trip last week.
Please do not move it into other flowers sessions. Thanks.

Very pretty flowers @PhuongSGN
Thanks @Nyainurjanah
My pleasure for flowers which I love @PhuongSGN
Hi @PhuongSGN ,
Thanks for the beautiful Lotus! Which camera did you use to capture it? Do you like to capture nature?
My favourite part of photography is exactly nature. Wherever I travel, I always capture nature because in each place nature is different and unique.
Here is photo of mine of a rose in my garden:
I’ve captured it with my camera Panasonic Lumix with the portrait lens.
I will be very happy to hear from you some photography techniques that you use.
Hi @PoliMC
Thanks for your comment.
For this lotus photo I used Nikon D610 with Tamron lens (70-300). For lotus, the flowers are often in the water far away, so I need a tele lens to get it from distance.
Yes, I love nature, so my photos are only 2 “categories”: Landscape and Flowers (Macro).
Here are 2 typical photos of mine.
Lan Ha Bay, Cat Ba (North of Vietnam)
Sakuara, Japan
Hi @PhuongSGN ,
Thanks a lot for your reply!
These two photos are also very beautiful and they look very professional. It seems like your hobby is photography.
Do you use sometimes some filters like ND for example?
Hi @PoliMC
Yes, I did use filter when the light too strong or taking pics of water.
The photo below I used ND filer (ISO 200, f22, 1/5s).
This is Elephant Waterfall in Da Lat, Lam Dong Province (Vietnam)
Hi @PhuongSGN ,
It’s a very nice photo, thank you! It’s always a good idea to use a such filter because the photos are being better.
In Vietnam all of nature is very beautiful so I think it doesn’t matter which device are we going to use to capture such amazing creature of nature.
Wish you a great day and nice week! I will wait for your next great post!
