Lost (reviews) in France

My family and I are currently enjoying a lovely vacation in North West France. The scenery is fantastic and the people are very friendly. As usual I have been posting reviews and photos of the places we are visiting, unfortunately for the first time ever in almost 7 years of Local Guiding my posts are being rejected. Can anyone shed any light on this? Is it something to do with French rules? As you can see, the reviews are positive, factual and inoffensive…

The accompanying photos are also generic without anything deemed inappropriate.

I don’t want to fall foul of any rules and be kicked off the Local Guides program so maybe I’d better hold off reviews until I return to jolly old England.

UPDATE The reviews have now been checked and deemed ok to post and are now live. It’s always worth appealing a Google bot’s call as their AI decision making algorithms aren’t infallible just yet.

Hello @RussKH ,

The system that checks reviews is too sensitive right now. Please fill out the form that I’ve linked so that the moderators can have a look at your profile. Note that this can take weeks to do. Account Investigation for contributions not visible on Google Maps

While waiting you can just keep on adding reviews and when your profile is checked, they’ll all be published.

Thank you for understanding.

I think your review is too short. However you can check details as your given photos

The review of McDonald’s is too short. You have to add some details to it.

The good thing is that you got notified that your review was rejected. Many of the local guides learn about their review being rejected months or years after they have posted it because they don’t get notified.
