14xxx points.
Now I'm at 7xxx points.
How can that be?

Hi @Maijul
It could happen due to two main reasons.
If for Google account Settings My Activity you chose “Delete automatically”, you will continue to lose points. To know more about that you could read the post How do I delete my answers to questions on Google Maps?
The next reason might be if some of your contributions automatically were detected as a violation of the Content Policy and therefore you have lost points.
