Looking for the best representation of Mexico

Hi! I have to choose a romantic place to travel with my boyfriend, so i have been looking for good options. The good look of the place isn’t all i’m looking for, it’s also the activities in that area or close enough to the hotel, the options of local food and art. I have been reading really good reviews about Baja California Sur, as well as Chiapas.

I hope you can give me some recommendations for choose the best representation of the romantic face of Mexico.

Hello @Corazonverde

You have many options to choose but all depend of what experience do you want to have? I mean we have a lot of places where you can do outdoors or maybe you just want to walk around and have a romantic dinner at night or maybe you want an antique city with a lot of interesting things to do, or maybe you want to be alone in an amazing beach, let me know what are your expectations and maybe I can give you a tip.

Cheers

@Corazonverde hola :wave:t2: if you’re coming to visit we have A very romantic place in Manzanillo, Colima the hotel Las Hadas :woman_fairy:, where Bo Derek and Dudley Moore filmed 10, La mujer perfecta, there is Cancun where the beaches are as clear as a pool, or try Los Cabos, the place is magical and very near is the place where Hotel California from Eagles was made.

I will go with my boyfriend, i need as romantic as possible. If you know any specific place to do something with a couple, I will be grateful with any idea. Thank’s!

In my personal opinion the place that fits better is San Miguel de Allende (Guanajuato) is a beautiful city where you can walk, you will see lovely places great restaurants and awesome buildings, that’s kind of a city but if you prefer like the mountain you can go to Peña de Bernal, is a lovely small town where you can walk and there’s some good spas and local restaurants, and if you prefer the beach Punta mita/Sayulita is your option, hopefully this info can help you.
