I’m a Level 8 Local Guide with nearly 1.2M views. I’ve been contributing to Google Maps for over many years, and I’m passionate about making it the best it can be.
I’ve submitted over 499 reviews, added over 3500 photos, and made over 4 major edits.
I’m writing to you today to ask if there are any perks or benefits that are available to Local Guides of my level. I’m always looking for ways to give back to the Google Maps community, and I’m interested in learning more about how I can get involved.

For instance, local guides can earn badges, get early access to new features, and receive invitations to exclusive events. They can also participate in the Local Guides Connect community to interact with other local guides and share knowledge.
Ultimately, the biggest reward for local guides is the satisfaction of helping people make informed decisions and finding the right place.
