Hi everyone,
I hope everyone has survived our tropical season without damages.
Through the end of October, I will be assisting my daughter with a move from West Palm Beach, FL to South Carolina (she has had enough of the ātropicsā and is looking forward to actual seasons).
For me, November would be a great time to organize a Meeting. Would this be good for other Savannah region Contributors? Let me know and I will start a process to facilitate the agenda.
We live in such a beautiful region, I think we could offer some beautiful photos and information. Videos are even an option; which I would live to do. I would like to introduce you all the our local Echo Chamberš¤ Are any of you familiar with it?

What is the local echo chamber? Iāve never heard of it.

There is a āsecretā location on River Street and if you stand on a certain spot, facing a certain direction, everything you say will echo back to you. Only you hear the reverberations.
It is the coolest thing ever. I use to work in hospitality and would take guest there during my off-time.
As many times as weāve been on River Street, I didnāt know that existed. There is a youtube video that says its across from Fannie is your aunt
rousakis plaza.
I just noticed not to long ago that Fort Pulaski is in the shape of the Mason Symbol which is nice for folks who have an airplane sightseeing budget. Savannah has a lot of shapes you can see on Google Earth. It really sucks tho for residents because where I live, we get airplanes sight seeing the shapes they have made in west chatham county so we have increase airplane sight seeing tours. I thought we were moving to a quiet residential place, not part of a tourist attraction for rich folks & warehouse ghetto.

That is interesting about shapes in our area. I thought Ft. Pulaski was an Octagonal shaped Fort.
I have had fun with the Echo Chamber for about 30 years. I have shown it to so many peopleā¦ friends and strangers. I had never thought about there being a video on YouTube. Darn! I guess it is not so secret.
There is a pyramid, triangle & octagon together. It reminded me of the free mason symbol. I wondered if there was some relationship to the shape Fort Pulaski
was built to the free mason symbol.
I found out this past summer that the homes being built in Godley Station North may be on the Civil War battlefield in Monteith Swamp. The houses on the other side in Effingham county are for sure on the civil war battle ground in Monteith Swamp. The Union confronted the Confederate Army on highway 30. There have been some archaeological digs and artifacts found. Two of the developments have been built in the shape of guns.
