I’m from Fort Collins, Colorado (USA) Originally - which is craft beer haven for anyone who’s an alcohol snob
Now living in Rome, I’d like some recommendations for beers to try, if there are breweries that are worth their salt and/or great pubs with wide selections! I typically like lighter colored beers and sours, but I’m willing to try anything if it’s highly recommended. I do not want to waste my time drinking anything equivalent to Coors, Heineken, or Corona - only the best please!
Fort Collins, Colorado to Rome, wow that’s a BIG change @Maddie_The_Mitty from many points of view like population, culture, architecture, landscape, weather and food etc etc. Anyway I was going to recommend the very same post that @Giuseppe75 has recommended. Wishing you the very best in Rome!
I have visited Rome in May after many years. I loved so much to walk around its streets… We can say that is a museum on the road… Everywhere you have historical sites or monuments to admire… You have been for sure in Trastevere near the river to have dinner or enjoy a drink?
Oh yes @Giuseppe75 in Trastevere I remember the amazing views of Rome’s skyline and the Vatican including St Peter’s dome from the terrace next to Parco del Gianicolo.
Thank you for the recommendation post ! Also @Giuseppe75 , I live in Trastevere and the surprises at every turn haven’t worn off on me yet This neighborhood is unlike the historical center. It’s very lively. In that way, it is very much like Fort Collins. I feel at home here. Cheers!
